The clause that cannot reach you
Build on a hosted provider and your product exists at the pleasure of their acceptable-use team. Here the weights are self-hosted: there is no upstream policy to update, and nothing to revoke.
- No provider terms above yours. Self-hosted models have no acceptable-use clause that can outlaw your category overnight.
- Cost is a hardware question. No per-token meter, so engagement is not a marginal cost that scales against you.
- Quota errors, not surprise bills. Over the allowance, requests are refused — with usage attributed per key so you know which integration did it.
- One vendor. Speech, language, image and video from one account instead of five providers who each forbid you.
What we are not offering
There is no credits programme, no accelerator partnership and no startup discount. If one appears it will be announced; inventing a programme to look established is exactly the kind of thing that makes a young platform less trustworthy, not more.
What is on offer is a free tier with real limits, paid tiers arranged directly while the payment processor is outstanding, and honest answers about what is finished — the integration status table lists the gaps rather than hiding them.
What founders ask first
Is the free tier a trial?
No. It has no card requirement and no expiry date — it is a real tier with real limits: 100 sessions, 1,000 AI responses and 5,000 API calls a month. It is enough to build and demo a product, and it stays free while you do.
What happens when we hit a limit?
Requests over the allowance are refused with a quota error rather than silently billed. Usage is tracked per API key, so you can see which integration consumed it before deciding whether to raise the ceiling.
How do we pay when we outgrow it?
Directly, for now. No payment processor is connected, so Pro and Enterprise are arranged with us rather than bought from a checkout page — the pricing page states this next to the plans rather than letting you discover it at an upgrade button.
What if your terms change on us?
The acceptable use policy is short and specific, and it commits to its own rule: if a use is not prohibited, it is permitted, with no unwritten judgement layer on top. That failure mode — vague terms interpreted after the fact — is exactly what this platform exists to replace.
Can we embed her in our product from day one?
Yes. Full API access is on the free tier: create a session server-side, hand the browser a short-lived token, and the companion appears on your site over WebRTC. Your secret key never reaches a client.
